An independent civic-information project operated by TGX
ElectMyGov is developed and operated by TGX Education Management & Technologies, Ltd., a British Columbia company. It is not operated by or affiliated with a political party, campaign, candidate, elected official, legislature or government.
TGX covers the development and operating costs of this early public test. ElectMyGov does not accept political advertising, paid profile placement, or payments from parties, candidates or elected officials to influence profile content, topic results or directory order.

Representative lookup
Your address is used for the request, not written to our database
When you submit a complete B.C. street address, ElectMyGov sends it to the Province of British Columbia geocoder to identify a geographic point. The point is then checked against B.C. electoral-boundary data and Open North’s civic-information service to identify the matching MLA and MP or vacancy.
The ElectMyGov application does not write the address or coordinates to its database. If you return from a profile to your results, the browser temporarily keeps only the matched ElectMyGov profile IDs. Postal-code-only matches are not shown because postal codes can cross electoral boundaries.
Hosting providers and upstream public services may keep ordinary security or operational logs under their own practices. You can avoid the lookup and use the official confirmation links instead.
Saved profiles and searches
Saved profiles remain on your browser
The Saved feature stores only ElectMyGov profile IDs in your browser. ElectMyGov does not receive that list, and saving a profile does not indicate support, endorsement or a political preference. Clearing browser data or using another device removes or hides the list.
Topic and directory searches are not stored in the ElectMyGov application database. Search terms may appear in the page address so browser Back and shareable results work correctly. This early test does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics software.
Feedback
Submissions follow a defined deletion schedule
A feedback submission stores its type, message, optional public source link, related profile when applicable, review status and submission time. The form does not ask for your name or email address. Please do not include private personal information.
Access to the feedback inbox is restricted to authorized site administrators. New or reviewing submissions are deleted no later than 12 months after submission. Resolved or archived submissions are deleted 90 days after their status last changes, or at the 12-month deadline, whichever comes first. The application enforces this schedule during normal feedback processing.
Anonymous rate-limit records contain a one-way protected client key, request category, time window and count—not the submitted address or message. Those records are removed after approximately 48 hours. Automated limits and an invisible anti-spam field help protect the public form from abuse.
Access, correction and deletion
Contact the Privacy and Corrections Lead
Use the Privacy request form to ask how ElectMyGov handled information connected to your interaction, or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Because the ordinary form does not collect identity or contact details, include the approximate submission date, feedback type and enough non-sensitive detail to locate the record. Include a safe reply method only if you need a response.
The Privacy and Corrections Lead reviews these requests for TGX. ElectMyGov may need to verify that a request concerns the person making it before disclosing or changing information.
Sources and methodology
Profiles distinguish records, statements and missing information
Official legislature, House of Commons, government and Elections Canada records support identity, office, electoral history and public-record information. Representative, caucus or party pages may support biographies and stated priorities. Each profile provides source links and review dates.
ElectMyGov does not infer a political position from a topic match, party affiliation, committee role or missing statement. Topic results show where a term appears in sourced profile information; they are not scores, rankings, endorsements or evaluations.
Corrections
Public information changes only after review
Use Share feedback or a profile’s Suggest a correction button to report information that may be missing or outdated. Include a public source link when possible. A submission does not automatically change a profile; it is checked against the source standard first.
